Thanks for posting. Sims -- not unexpectedly -- leads the way, with nice support from Ms. Brown.

Jess Shepard sweeps up 6 boards and dishes out 3 assists in just 16 minutes. And hits a 3! Think we'll start seeing more of that as time goes on.

@Shades posted Pheesa's interview about that play but at the time I did not see the play which was being discussed.

I am very impressed with the thought process Pheesa had in explaining that
normally she would need to be wary of the shot fake but with time running out, she could be ,more aggressive.

Pheesa does so many things well that when the points don't fall, she is still out there at crunch time.

2 fouls in 2 min for Collier. Looks like she’ll be sitting a bunch.

bad Mojo changing her hairstyle with (mild) highlights and the pony tail. Maybe she thought she was on the La La Sparks Head bangHead bang

Edit. Spoke too soon. :oops::oops::oops::oops:

Coach Reeves let Pheesa stay in the game with 2 fouls and in Q1, has had a positive impact on offense and especially defense. :D:D:D:D

Mabrey fouled Collier. This is looking like a college game.

And Collier intercepted a Mabrey pass and threw it to Sims for a fast break layup. Lynx have caught up at the end of Q1 after being way down. 17-17

Mabrey has gotten a few steals, an assist, and a 3. Nice first 3 minutes

Hate to admit it but she will be a good pro. She has the confidence and body language to succeed. Totally different from Wiese imho. Not sure how she started? I guess she had some decent games?

Rotting on the bench the previous 2 years probably didn't do much for her confidence.

LA has taken control in Q2. Big spark from Riquna Williams off the bench. O sisters finally getting going after a quiet start.

So...is there a game happening? The broadcast has been filled with interviews w/ players/coaches/ex-players. Not much game commentary going on.

The one thing Wiese has going for her over Mabrey is experience. Wiese may have been riding the bench for LA, but she has been a pro for a few years. Whenever LA has to decide between the two, I believe Mabrey will be the one they keep. Her last two years at ND made her a more complete player.
