I have to admit .... And I sincerely hope to eat crow for this in a few years ... But Lembo was the last candidate I wanted. I just don't see the Buzz that others do. He may rebuilt programs from dumpster fires to average programs.... But average programs don't usually rank in the top 25 and win championships. This to me is a case of we took what was available and didn't go the extra mile.

UCONN: A source close to the situation tells me that the UCONN job is not going to Pete Lembo. UCONN athletic director Warde Manuel has something up his sleeve. The job offer has been extended, per source. It will be interesting to see if Notre Dame defensive coordinator Bob Diaco is the guy.
