A bit of drama here; shocking, eh?

FSU kinda got screwed last year after going undefeated and now we are firing their coach?

.

When you preside over the (probably) worst FSU team in 50 years, yes you are on the hot seat. Especially when you start ranked #10.

No chance Norvell is on the hot seat. Florida State got screwed last year because they aren’t in the SEC or Big Ten. Yes, they were missing their starting quarterback, but that snub would’ve never happened if they were in the P2.

They recruited 46 guys in the off-season to replace the mass exodus and the situation just hasn’t come together. It was a chemistry experiment, and unlike ours, it hasn’t worked out very well. Norvell is as good a choice as anyone to get them back on track. He’s a great coach and good man. Firing him just wouldn’t make any sense at this point.

CFB is now a chemistry experiment every year. Last year, UConn's did not work out well. Players quitting after four games to preserve a year of eligibility and enter the portal. This year things seem to be working out better. Keep our fingers crossed.

Last year was all politics of the current moment. The idea you hold out an undefeated power school is unforgivable
