Obviously, the Maryland team did not perform very well, losing by 16. This must have affected the team. Not a good look for Willard.

Alternatively, Florida is a very good team.

Either way, I do not think Kevin Willard is worth break-the-bank money. He is a mediocre nepo-baby that just made his first Sweet Sixteen after 18 years as a Head Coach. He doesn’t suck, but this is not a guy that deserves a massive contract that will make him un-fireable by Villanova or Maryland and unhirable by any other school.

Perhaps to most in the general public Maryland had the image of being a better job but I doubt that's the case any more, unless the person in question is from the northeast corridor. Keep in mind, he's from Texas.

You know what they say, it's better to be from Texas than to be in Texas. But I agree with you. MD's previous guy left to go to Villanova.

I mean, he's at A&M...they're the 5th best basketball school in the state?
