Chat for the draft

Where is the draft, tired of the James show. Don't care if Steven A wants LeBron in New York.

4 pm start time. Aka 415 after ESPN pumps the viewers with 15 min of ads and bronny content

This is pathetic I know it’s the 2nd rd but these kids should have the opportunity to have a stage with fans present, David Stern is rolling in his grave.

This is one of the worst ideas the league ever had. And 4pm too smh.

So apparently Kyle Filipowski dropped because:
  • He blew his interviews (was apparently super disengaged).
  • His fiance is 8 years older than him & they've been dating since he was a minor.
  • He's now estranged from his entire family because of the above.
This is wild. She got her master's degree before she went to prom with him.

2nd rounders were usually not at the draft in the past. Jackson for example watched at a nearby restaurant.

Macron's wife was 40 when she was dating him as her 15 year old student.

I mean. He is going to Utah... they have...ahem...'creative' rules around marriage.

Checked on this. She's 26 and he's 20. So not that terrible. Not exactly the Bill Belichick cringe level.

She's not bad to look at. Seems well educated, works with Cochlear Implants.

knicks get kolek at 34, pretty good get with lower cap hit and fills a desperate need to take load off of brunson.

Feel good story to see Utah taking a chance on an unproven but scrappy kid from an up-and-coming program for their second round pick

LOL if 2 is true, I can't imagine that should be a red flag for NBA teams. If anything, having an older partner as a guardrail should be viewed as a positive. And the underaged partner in a relationship like that should never be punished or judged or held responsible.

I can definitely see his above-it-all attitude turning some teams off in interviews, though.

Furphy goes at 35, but seems like Pacers not Spurs with Castle.
