I wonder how much this was due to the debate tonight? Which I am assuming was scheduled after the NBA had set the dates for the draft. Maybe without that conflict it starts at the same time as yesterday.
Could be. I just don’t see why they would fix something that wasn’t broken. The NFL draft is 7 rounds so you could have lots of story lines to develop over the final 6 rounds. Doing a stand-alone night for the second round is overkill imo.

To be honest I thought KJ Simpson was the best talent left going into today.

Reeves going to the Pels makes me think they're planning to package Hawk in a trade.

Newton to Pacers at 49.
Gah. There are already 3 other PGs on that team.

Was really hoping he'd end up in Denver (or, if he had to go somewhere with a PG logjam, to my Celtics).

Hell yeah really couldn’t have asked for a better outcome for our 4 guys in this draft.

ESPN broadcast whatever. This should be the most memorable draft of our lives as Husky fans so far. I haven't cared this much about the NBA since the Dee Brown no look dunk.

Justin Edwards may not be drafted. Remember us recruiting him. Wish he stayed in school and made a better decision for himself. Wish him the best of luck. The year with Cal and Kentucky work out for him the way he wanted I'm guessing.

ESPN “I can’t overstate how monumental it is for Lebron to have a chance to play with his son”.
I disagree, that is all they have talked about for the last month.

I view it as nepo-draft. Lebron is still a great player. LA needed to do it to keep dad, but Bronny is not a top 60 player this year.

I hope he stays healthy and improves. I’m glad all our guys got drafted. And glad Danny is back and doesn’t have to deal with that drama there.
