He was a county music guy I think. I think ESPN was pushing for cross cultural content.

Was moreso referring to podcasts but I definitely understand what you mean. I listen to a lot of media and definitely appreciate certain aspects of it. I honestly can't remember the last time I watched sportscenter and I was a DAILY watcher my entire childhood. I remember watching it twice certain because they used to just have the same segments on repeat.

Yesss. Espn and sportscenter not what they used to be. SportsCenter used To be great when I was a kid- couldn’t wait to put it on and watch all the crazy highlights(then watch the reruns again)

Yeah, wish them the best (Them doing well doesn't affect me, so hope they do good).
Don't see how this works.
Dan Patrick runs his show and everyone else falls in line. Same with LeBatard and a few others. Very difficult to soothe all the egos for air time. The King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table model isn't very strong in sports radio.
