Courtney played an excellent game. Not big numbers but steady and that Euro step bucket was wicked good.Nice little move by Ekmark for 2, 101-41

I think we need her now and I like the way she is playing. Her mid-range game and passing have been supreme! She also has many subtle things mastered that are probably among the hardest defensive things to teach a big post player. Establish position early, don't foul, make yourself tall & make them shoot over you.Can we now dispense with Natalie's too slow, she's the last one up the court, she'll only get clean up, should be mop up, minutes. She's big, strong, an excellent passer, a soft touch on her jumper and she's aggressive. Oh, by the way, maybe not having to wear that splint had something to do with her playing better. Way to Natalie. We're going to need you down the road!

Sometimes we forget what a spectacle UConn Women's Basketball is. As those of us lucky enough to live in the area and attend home games know, there is a real nice video presentation played on the scoreboard before the introduction of UConn players. It show clips from the 10 championships and video of each of the players on this year's team. It's dramatic, with fast cuts, a deep voiceover and captivating music. It is nicely done. During the video tonight, we looked over at the UCF bench and the coaches appeared to be mesmerized by it. They just stared and enjoyed. It was pretty cool and humorous. The spectacle that is UConn Women's basketball transcends the line at center court.
I saw her play in high school her junior year. She is one of my favorite players and I hope she sticks it out and does not get discouraged. I believe she has a chance to be very helpful before she graduates. That injury last year really set her back. Just a side note; it seems that Saniya for some reason won't pass her the ball when she is in position to shoot. She will have to be more aggressive about creating her shot.Courtney played an excellent game. Not big numbers but steady and that Euro step bucket was wicked good.
I see things just the other way around. The past several games Ekmark would not pass Chong the ball even when she was the point. Seem these 2 are a little chippy towards each other. We are looking through different colored glasses but both seeing the same thing.I saw her play in high school her junior year. It seems to me that both of you need new glasses. Your projections of discord are unfounded. You are seeing what you want to see.I see things just the other way around. From what I have been seeing - the coaches seem to be rotating the lead guard position around whenever Moriah is not in the game - I say lead guard rather than PG because that really seems to be the way they run offense without Moriah on the floor - it is the guard that most closely sticks to the center at the top of the key as the offensive set begins. Sometime it is Chong, sometimes Nurse, sometimes Ekmark, and very occasionally It has been Lou. It seems to be by design for short stretches of playing time.It seems to me that both of you need new glasses. Your projections of discord are unfounded. You are seeing what you want to see.
I am seeing what is happening. Watch the last three games. I did not say there was any discord. I just said what I, ME, not YOU, observed. It seems to me that both of you need new glasses. Your projections of discord are unfounded. You are seeing what you want to see.
I have not observed a "refusal" to pass the ball to Courtney as you say you have.I am seeing what is happening. Watch the last three games. I did not say there was any discord. I just said what I, ME, not YOU, observed.
