I watched Channel 30 6 o'clock news. 1-3 northern half of the state, 3-6 southern half, with a sliver of 6+ right along the immediate shoreline. We're hearty New Englanders. We can handle that in our sleep, unlike the mid-Atlantic.Not if you listen to the Weather people: "The roads will be treacherous, wires and trees will be down, winds will be between 35-40 miles per hour, there will shoreline flooding, and blizzard conditions1"...well, they finally have something to talk about.
