Very encouraging to see Lou have a positive impact on the game in other ways when she's not shooting well.

A few weeks ago that stat line would be 1-7 on 3's and nothing else.

Only 25c here at Lake Atitlan. Cold snap. Felt warmer. 12c right now. BRR.

UCONN on 23-0 run
This game is ridiculous......like high school seniors playing 5th graders. Uconn would get more out of a scrimmage in a practice session.

UCF has 26 TOs and only 31 FGAs. That's a formula for a blow-out.

The storm sounds like a dud for Connecticut. Just a few inches, maybe up to half a foot along the shore.
Not if you listen to the Weather people: "The roads will be treacherous, wires and trees will be down, winds will be between 35-40 miles per hour, there will shoreline flooding, and blizzard conditions1"..................well, they finally have something to talk about.

Butler in for Stewie. Chong, Ekmark, KLS, Collier, Butler on the floor. 77-22 2:08 3rd

I watched Channel 30 6 o'clock news. 1-3 northern half of the state, 3-6 southern half, with a sliver of 6+ right along the immediate shoreline. We're hearty New Englanders. We can handle that in our sleep, unlike the mid-Atlantic.

6 players in double figures--before the end of the 3rd period.

To the trivia question. Well there was a time when Miami was good in the Big East before we got really good. They beat us a few times. In the Fern Labati days.

Some really nice interior passing. UCF isn't proficient with dribbling and ball handling, and UConn knows it. Game over on that basis alone. Good patience by UC, and good shot selection usually.

Chong with the 18 footer. First 2 points for her. And UCF answers with a 3.

That Hartford Whaler video brought tears to my eyes. Although I am a big NY Ranger fan, driving up to Hartford from Queens on a Saturday night was always fun.
