Caroline: A caution

You're replying to me for some reason, but this was my point in the original post.

However, I was worried I'd misremembered which games I'd seen her wearing them to. Is your point that you saw them also at the Tennessee game?
It was just that you said you didn't know how to interpret that, I thought you meant wearing orange earplugs at Tennessee. Sorry if I was mistaken.

A daughter of mine was essentially T-boned driving home last July and suffered a severe concussion. She's still in therapy and shown very little progress. The symptoms are both subtle and gross. So I have gotten a lesson in concussions and then some. I am very concerned for Caroline. She needs all the good thoughts we can send her way.
Sending good thoughts Caroline's way, but also to your daughter, who I hope begins showing signs of significant improvement. Best wishes to her.

As a parent of college athlete that suffered a serious concussion I can tell you I was shocked at how long the process took to work itself out. My daughter was out a couple of months from any competition and that included about a month where she couldn't talk on her phone, work on her computer or even read a book. My point is if she does have a head injury her return could be months but the most important point is her long term health.
