Cam Spencer drafted 53 to Memphis

Isn't he the guy who got us our sixth championship by going to Kansas?
Not sure. I think that he may have been in a boy band once though.

He set a really bad example with that DUI though. He clearly has enough cash to afford a driver.....

Absolutely. I think we dodged a bullet when he didn't come here.

I’m almost scared to say it but I hope Aidan isn’t Nick Timberlake. I didn’t like Aidan’s game before he got here. I hope I’m wrong. He looks okay to me though. Just nothing close to Cam.

And Cam wasn't Hawkins.

I think there's a natural tendency to think about additions as plug and play replacements for the kids who left. That's not actually how it works. I trust Hurley and staff to go out and get the pieces we need and then cobble them together into an effective, and lately, devastating, team.

Cam was a better college player than Hawkins. Now, hawkins has more talent, potential, but I am not sure college basketball world appreciates how efficient cam was .

Like don’t confuse nba potential with college play. Hawkins is more talented and more potential. But Cam was stellar.

One of this staffs best attributes imo is their ability to change the style of play based on personnel. As a result this years team will have its own style, unique from the prior 2

If there was an intensity scale Cam would be beyond it’s parameters.?
A guy like that with a shot like his could turn out to be the biggest steal of the draft .
I will admit I really never evaluated his game transferring to the next level .
but when you think he was playing in the Patriot League, anyone placing a lid on his potential could get very embarrassed.

Nah. Cam would still get out hustled by delly

His frisbee-style fling and calling his pitch "trash" (it wasn't) makes me wonder how good he is at skipping stones on a lake. I know he's said that his whole family is non-stop active & competitive.

A legitimately worthwhile & decent-length in-game interview too. Thanks for posting.

Skipping stones. Let's get that as an Olympic sport for 2032.
