It's a long story but let's just say Rutgers likes to take credit for UConn stuff, kind of their MO...
Its not that long of a story, Rutgers Mens BBall main page tweeted a hilarious graphic that took credit for something Rutgers had nothing to do with. Its been a running joke ever since

Funnily enough, I think Arkansas just did the something pretty similar a couple days ago

They've got to update the graphic for Cam's earnings now.

That’s a pretty impressive streak. And at least they are taking credit for the head coach

do many 2nd rounders not named Bronny get 2 way contracts?
I was hoping for better for Cam. I’d say it’s 50/50. Many guys are signing deals similar to AJax(4 years, with some guaranteed money and team options). A two-way for Cam, at his age, will be an uphill battle to get any run in the nba.

I think on the flip side, Cam is kinda the perfect archetype to get called up for an end-of-the-bench role if he can show that he can still be efficient and defend at a decent level against NBA (albeit G-League) athletes. He can be a catch and shoot guy, he's hyper competitive, willing passer, has good patience and fundamentals, etc.

I know how highly the NBA values youth and athleticism, but he seems like he'd be such a good fit for a role on the 2nd unit somewhere.

Two ways cap the number of games allowed to be called up for. More times than not, they are not converted to a fully guaranteed deal. This locks Cam up while limiting time in the nba. Look no further than Adama. It’s an uphill battle from here. He dominated in the few times he played an nba game and still couldn’t convert that to a regular contract.

For sure, even Tyrese has had a few very good stints in the G and can’t seem to stick around in any one place. We have quite a few guys on that fringe right now, hopefully a few can stick around a roster for a little while.

Seem like there’s more basketball talent than ever but the same number of spots for them. Seattle and Las Vegas coming to the NBA soon too?

It caps your games played at 50, and if he's playing anywhere close to that number of games and in danger of exceeding it then he'll be signed to a regular contract. It was going to be a battle to stick in the NBA whether he signed a 2 way contract or a guaranteed contract

Maybe, but he's now been drafted into the NBA and he'll get the opportunity to prove himself in the G league, possibly getting called up. If it doesn't work out for him, it'll still give him a leg for a European contract.

Yes. It’s rare though to come close to 50 games. A lot has to happen. Anyway, look at the deal Cam Christie got. There is a huge difference between a 2way deal and getting an actual nba contract. Christie signed for 4 years 7.9 with over 3 mil guaranteed. Many 2nd rounders now are locking in these types of deals. I held hope Cam was going to be one of them.

In money, sure. But not in terms of chances to succeed and play in the NBA. This is last year's 2nd round. The top 3 in terms of games played were on guaranteed deals (Camara, TJD, Jackson), but GG Jackson played 48 games on a 2 way deal and Jalen Wilson played 43 games. GG Jackson did this in Memphis, where Cam Spencer is
