Would be pretty surprised if we land Johnson or Harris. Think we'll get Diarra though.

Have we beaten UK head-on for a recruit (that they really wanted) in the last 15 years?
 
I would love Johnson, but I feel like he is a real long shot for UConn RN, why would a coveted player like him want to walk into the current roster situation in Storrs?

The good news is that Johnson isn't some one and done lock for the NBA. With players like Vanderbilt, Diallo, Alexander, and even PFs like Washington, Gabriel and Killeya-Jones already on board, playing time at the 2 and 3 spots will be much more limited at Kentucky than UConn. And in his senior year, he'll just get recruited over again if he picks UK.
 
Time for Ollie to get in the mud and play dirty. Some negative recruiting is needed here. Ollie needs to convince him at UK he'll end up losing his spot to one and dones, amd he'll ride the bench

Why wouldn't he? Wants to walk in and play and with good guards, makes sense to me. Help bring a program back to where it belongs and he knows that hasn't been that long. Any big should consider.

I've got a friend on this board who lives in Lexington. There's a UK sports podcast called Duck & Cover, and one of its hosts reported mutual interest.

Hopefully the guy is just blowing smoke, but there's also a bunch of UK fans on twitter hoping for him like we are.

Corey Evans on TOS said we are definitely pursuing him, but that mutual interest has yet to be determined

UConn has been hoping for his release for awhile. He was always the counter to the transfers that have recently happened. Just hope big fish come in and eat this Tuna.

Ater Majok. We won't beat them for Johnson if there is indeed real mutual interest, that's for sure.

1) He's not a big
2) I don't think he wants to restore a program, or join a program that is perceived publicly as declining, hence the reason why he left Pitt to begin with.
