When it comes to coaching UConn basketball, Jim Calhoun is second to no one.Of course not. It would be associate head coach.

Agreed, but he's been clear that he'll help the program in any capacity. When it comes to coaching UConn basketball, Jim Calhoun is second to no one.
I agree 1000%I cannot fathom how Jim Calhoun could ever be an associate head coach. If you think he could sit in a chair for the whole game on a UConn sideline and let a head coach direct the game you're insane.
That is true. Unlike you, I do actually want whoever the next coach is to succeed.Aren’t you supposed to be someone who genuinely cares about the program’s long-term health?
Lol he would say “get some facts and come back and see me!”
I know, but like brasssbonanzaa just posted, I think it will be hard for JC to just sit on the bench and allow somebody else to run the show.Agreed, but he's been clear that he'll help the program in any capacity.
I agree with your point generally, but there's a difference between realistically helping a program and being realistic. Calhoun is a head coach, it's how he's wired. He's not an associate. Assisting from side court as an advisor to the program is another story, he's not involved day to day and he's not involved in the in-game decisions.Agreed, but he's been clear that he'll help the program in any capacity.

Me thinks thou doth protest too much. Honestly, how upset will you be when UConn lands Hurley? You spent quite a lot of time telling anyone who would listen about how he would NEVER consider coming here and the best we could possibly hope as a replacement was King Rice. I'm sure being exposed yet again will be a severe blow to your alredy fragile psyche. As usual, you’re completely wrong. It’s the people like you and Frank Ivy whose dissatisfaction with Ollie turned into near-psychotic rage who want specific coaches to fail.
The last thing I want to do is to turn myself into a witness. Keeping a low profile and letting the litigation run its course. Chief’s predictions will return at the appropriate time.

If Jim Calhoun is coming back in any way, its absolutely not going to be as an assistant coach.
Depends on the opponents. How many losses before you find Hurley's wife on Twitter and start heckling her?
He’s returning more powerful than you can possibly imagineWe're not hiring a 76 year old, but maybe he'll come back in some capacity.
And how in the hell does this work with recruiting? Is chill being kept around for that alone?

If AD David Benedict's first two hires are bringing back RE and then bringing back Calhoun, he needs to be immediately fired
when does his season end in Finland? I doubt Omar will return before his pro season ends.
