The dunk was the most exciting thing to me. He recognized it really fast and closed on the basket really fast. Blew by guys. Reminded me a bit of Ajax

And his 3 in transition where he had the open lane and made the shot. He just needs to be confident in his decision making. Last year he would have stood there deciding and let the defense get back

Im a little surprised there hasn't been more about Ross. He's really coming along. Helped us big time. He could be big this year

Yeah his offense is better mostly although you don’t want him handling the ball. His inability to play more minutes because he can’t stay out of foul trouble is an issue though.

I just think coaches are reluctant to risk the challenge especially when it is tight game and you might need it later

Of course, take the win. Ross was solid and I think a lot of people on the board wanted to see him have a game like this against a quality opponent.
I don't think Hurley will be have with the last 13 minutes, but the game also provides him with plenty to focus on in practice and keep really pushing the guys with 'Zona coming up.
I think one of the things he can use tape for is show Ball that he cannot pick up silly fouls. They have to count because he needs to be out on the floor. Also, they need to take away the 3 point line for the entire game. Some of the 2nd half closeouts were not quick.

We have a tendency to slow down the offense with a double digit lead. Need to break that habit as it seems to get everyone out of rhythm

Yes we have the horses now we need the wolves. Smell blood and destroy. Killer instinct needs to mature. Wait until conference play. This seems to be the only piece we may need.

The starting 5 of AK, Tarris, SD, Solo and Mullens has to be the most firepower in college. The first half defense has nice and I think where we can get to with this group. We found out tonight that Silas is a championship PG. By far the most important result other than the win.

It's hard to describe our three year players. There's not a complete player among them, and that is frustrating. You just hope Solo puts it all together, Ross continues to improve and flash, and JStew I'm not sure about...I'm not sure if we are going to get any more than what he's shown at this point.

How many games in are we? Let's give these 3 a dozen games and revisit this.

I agree that all 3 need to improve and clean up their game.

Solo still needs to improve his handle. His D has improved and he gets some nice hustle in-traffic rebounds.

Stewie needs to learn to bring it and knock down a few shots. He dissappears too much. We've seen him have impactful games, so that game is inside him for Hurley and the staff to unlock.

Ross has showed huge improvement, especially on offense, but as many pointed out, needs to learn how to defend without fouling.

Lots of games ahead to improve their game, along with the team in general to develop into a F-4 caliber team.

Malachi was disappointing this game, a lot of boneheaded mistakes. We shrunk the squad down to 8 for this game. No Millender or Koroma.

Solo needs to play better, IMO, it's early but he has been disappointing so far this season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ross starts over Stewart from here on out until Mullins is back. Ross outplayed him.

Karaban and Reed were great.

Silas was a DOG. Huge shots late in the game. That little step back with like 90 seconds left was a thing of beauty.

Plus who cares about AP nonsense these days. As mentioned, this was a neutral site quad 1 win. That’s what matters the most about this game. That, and hopefully Tarris’s knee is okay.
