Gotta love threads with Stone Cold giving a thumbs up, and Tiger doing a fist pump.

How many 3's did the Celts take last night? That is where the game is going at all levels. Dan Hurley and staff know this and they have also figured out it is easier to find a shooter and teach him to play defense than vice versa. I don't think we'll go full Alabama offense but I expect 85% of our shots are 3's or in the paint. Lastly, the new IU football coach reminds me a lot of Dan Hurley. Proven winner at many levels, super confident in himself and a sh$t talker. College Gameday will be in Bloomington this Saturday. I'm going out on a limb and saying they make the playoffs this year. IU's football history has been a constant Big Ten doormat.

"A bit far, but not sure it is" is a great description of how I felt as I wrote it.
Hurley for sure has input into the commitment videos. And Ray is in it and apparently narrating it. Hawk is in it as well. Read into that what you will I guess.

The argument whether UConn is a "Blue Blood" has jumped the shark. We need a new higher category specifically for the Huskies.
I was thinking the exact same thing when this news broke. I can't really think of any new category, except we are now the bluest of the blue bloods.

I've noted this before, it's not a matter of how highly ranked the recruits are, but how well they are developed, how well they perform and how much they contribute to winning. Teams win championships, not individuals, nor individual recruiting classes.

I really don't care if UConn wins the recruiting crown. It's the staff getting the players they think are the best for the program and being the last team standing when it counts most.

That's his AAU, not Indiana University. Let's see their fanbase's reaction....
Does it really matter where it came from? It showed good taste and class. We should not become the program that is despised because of a holier than tho arrogance toward every other program, but rather disliked yet respected by every other program.

Watching the commitment I think if he was eligible and we gave him an offer Braylon's dad would have come to UConn. Dude was as excited about this announcement as any parent I've observed.
