Indeed. Is this our best recruiting class - rankings wise - ever ? A lot of our guys over the years were underrated, but I don't recall a class like this - ever.

The one it reminds me of was the 1992(?) recruiting class with Donny, Donyel, Fair, Rudy Johnson, and Willingham. Only Donyel was rated this high, though.

Nice to see all the big clubs were involved with him in the recruiting. UConn is really elite now winning 3 top 25 recruits this year. Amazing stuff Hurley is accomplishing at UConn and I'm so proud of him.

Now I am just waiting for ESPN's recruiting page to put the beautiful UConn Husky logo on the same line as Braylon Mullins at #24, just 1 below Eric Reibe. What can I say? Seeing 3 of the UConn Husky logos within the first top 25 list is eye candy (shoulder shrug).

We now have the 2nd ranked recruiting class according to 247. I wonder if Hurley is done or if he has his sights set on anyone else.

With that said, I don't get caught up with the ranking of the recruits we bring in, rather how well they fit the system and how much upside they have. The program has been built on the backs of many unheralded recruits who have turned out to be much better than their ranking. If that's the case with these three players, then wow!

Mullins and Reibe are also still underrated. They were totally slept on nationally and made huge jumps in the rankings but not high enough. These three kids are 5 star players.

Was just thinking how he compares ... and I think it's clear he's a better athlete and finisher than Hawk as a prospect, but is he already as good as Hawk was end of frosh/soph year?

I think he might be that good.
This might be a bit far, but I’m not sure it is. I think this kid might end up being the best shooter to wear a UConn jersey since Ray Alllen.

We jumped to #2.....

Poor Indiana.

Notre Dame with the #3 class.
Butler at 7.
Purdue doing okay of late.

Yeah, that's the impression I am getting, too, when reading their scouting reports is that they are under ranked. More importantly, it looks like Coach Hurley thinks that and noticed that and was recruiting these guys very early.
