Looks like ESPN made a mistake and accidentally released them early. If they are accurate UConn's draw is brutal and they are not a #1 seed.
OK, so UConn is a #2 in Albany. The only difference is that they play MD rather than OR St assuming those teams actually make it to the 3rd round. Here’s a spoiler alert. Louisville will have a tough battle to get by Or St.Looks like ESPN made a mistake and accidentally released them early. If they are accurate UConn's draw is brutal and they are not a #1 seed.
Albany:
Just wow. Tough bracket...
- Louisville
- UCONN
- Maryland
- Oregon State

Yes that’s my point. UConn was not going to be the overall #1 and get Iowa. We were going to be in a bracket with one other really good team. I’ll take my chances with Louisville in Albany any day over any other potential team we could have faced. It's not the seeding that's the problem. It's the path UConn is staring at. The path would be the same if UConn and Louisville's seed numbers were flipped.
Well committee just said it was strength ofschedule and strength of conference that pit Uconn to 2 seed

Remember...it only applies when it justifies their pick....besides, it’s tough to get rid of a “legacy system”She also mentioned "Down the stretch" which is really BS in regard to UCONN. If "Down the stretch" is a big deal why is TENN in?
