Bowl Thread (Non-UConn)

Score is not representative of the game. At the end of the day, the talent disparity was too much for Boise but they showed they belong.

Does this price disparity make any sense to anyone here?

I knew this post was going to be here.

Still think the Pitt win was a good one for SMU? Or maybe Pitt just wasn’t that good?

Anyway…playing in the reliaquest bowl isn’t the same as playing in the playoffs. i don’t follow Bama…so i have no idea what their roster is today versus what it could have been.

That being said…let’s see how this game finishes out before claiming victory on the SMU and Indiana deserve their playoff selection over Alabama debate.

Could it be that the game is in New Orleans?
There was a lot of injuries and deaths, I imagine people are concerned about another attack. The reality is that any public event can be a target, but you cannot let terrorists control our lives.

Looks like they have decided to move the Sugar Bowl to tomorrow.

Needless to say, security will be extra-tight.

Seems strange they are still planning on playing the Sugar Bowl tomorrow.

I'm serious but is ESPN making that call or something? Are they desperate for Texas to win for ratings?

ESPN and CFP are going to protect the SEC. They care more about that property than NCAAF.

Fans implicitly trust the integrity of the sport -- the buy in comes from a presumed fairness. The more that gets chipped away, the less people will tune in over time.

Wasn't it only about five or so weeks ago that Ryan Day had to get fired if Ohio St was ever going to be good again?

Dang was hoping for all the SEC teams to eliminated in the QFs.

Texas almost choked it away.
