Bobby, those are some very positive and insightful comments - I'm stoked. :D:D
 
From the clips I’ve seen, she’s a good defender with quick hands. She runs the court well in transition. And she can make shots. I haven’t seen enough to really make a judgement on her offensive skills, but her athleticism is reminiscent of Aubrey’s. That alone will make her a great partner for Sarah.
 
Any info on why she waited so long? Did she want to do a visit first? Did she sign during the early signing period then? I thought there was some rule they had to wait until spring or summer to sign if they don’t during the early signing period

No idea on most of your Qs, however the spring signing period is April 16 - May 21.

Great Stats!! Thank You. Dorka's team 82, Blanca's team 73 with
Blanca being a stat stuffer with 21 points in approximately 30 minutes
before fouling out. She does a little of everything. NICE!

it's amazing that she never misses :) she for sure is impressive. She seems to have all the tools (3 pointer, mid-range shot, going to the basket, good handles, defensive instincts, euro step, etc.) to be successful at UConn.

Watching the Blanca highlight clip (post 101 in this thread) gives me a good feeling about 25-26.

Sure starters: 5-split between Jana and Ice (and Sarah when we go small); 3 & 4- Blanca and Sarah; 1 & 2- KK and Ash (plus Azzi if she returns),. Top subs Cheli at the 2 , 3 and 4 spots; Allie at the 1 and 2; Yanna at the 3 and 4 (assuming she has developed a 15ft and in shot)

Unknowns: Caroline - a big addition to the above if she is healthy she will get lots of time at spots 2 and 3, maybe even start at the 3
Kellis - backup at the PG.
Gandy - a year to develop from deep on the bench.
Q - similar role to this year

Sara Nicole Scalia, the one that I know, played for the UNIVERSITY OF INDIANA
and had a great career, especially adept at hitting three pointers. Sara was
undrafted in the 2024 WNBA draft. I guess there is no chance of Geno
getting a waiver to have her play for the HUSKIES!!!

She is used to having teammates who are accurate outside shooters. She should feel right at home.
