Now the question is will they sleepwalk vs Xavier since they blew them out 2x
Xavier is the only team we've easily handled in both matchups. This will be a real litmus test for where the team is at, mentally.

Another struggle here and it will be an uncomfortable 24 (or, God-forbid, 168) hours until the next chance to show that we're actually back in contending form.

I never understood the critique of Fanta or Donnie. I mean, i roll my eyes everytime a BYer gives Dan Hurley coaching tips, but I give them the benefit of the doubt because its possible they have played or coached at a college level. But announcing??? What does anybody here know about what it takes to call a game? One thing I'm sure of, whether you can coach a game (which you probably cant), I am 100% positive nobody on this board could call a game for more than 30 seconds without sounding like a babbling amateur..

Do y'all have to be experts on everything???
I don't mind Donny's commenting style in a vacuum, though he could stand to let the game breathe a little.

He's unlistenable specifically as a UConn fan because he bends over backwards to be an anti-homer. I've never heard a guy complain as much about 50/50 calls in our favor or excuse bad calls that go against us.

It really does seem like he'd be better if there was no UConn connection. Who would care, anyway? Reggie Miller calls games then gets standing ovations in Indiana. Everyone knows where these guys played

I like the announcing, but I HATE it when he uses his, "I went to a state school, so (insert random example of ignorance, like a math problem wrong)." UConn is, and was when he went there, a top tier research university. STOP denigrating it!

I feel like it's a combination of he talks too much.....and he doesn't add anything of value. If he's telling me about a defensive adjustment a team made, or the X's and O's of a play that resulted in a basket, I'd love the insight. We get it, Donny....practices for Calhoun were hard. Say it a hundred more times.

Fair point on the season tix holders. I think there were still tickets to be had on Ticketmaster, etc, for that game, but people weren't willing to pay for them. Would love to see us have a bigger turnout this time, we were overwhelmed last time. You know it's bad when you don't have to wait in line to pregame at Legends.
know it is bad when you can get into Legends and can get a seat on the train.

The real indicator to me though was seeing people in St Johns gear on Metro North in CT. Been going to the garden for the ST Johns game for a long time (even at Alumni Hall) but that was the first time I saw any St Johns gear in CT

If it’s us and STJ on Saturday there is really no excuse for UConn to not have the majority of the fans in the building.

PeeCee getting their teeth kicked in right now. Sellers about the only thing going for them. Oswin getting worked by Zuby and the fan base has re-turned on Vaaks after his game yesterday.
Sellers has enough wiggle and skill that I could see him carving out a Jordan Clarkson type role in the NBA

Getting beat 19-8 on rebounds, 9 offensive and turning the ball over 6x before the 7 minute mark is basically saying, here you go StJ.

They are such a beatable team. Force them to actually make shots without giving them free shots and they will lose.

I was hoping PC might have a little magic in them just for fun after losing their coach. Especially after their offensive performance last night. Still a half to go but it doesn't look good so far.

Why on God’s green Earth would you ever be scared of a 19 loss team, even including the loss?

Could it possibly be the because of the UConn team that showed up on March 7th for chance to be co-winner of the BE regular season title.

I expect us to come out on fire, but I thought the same on Saturday. We are doooooomed.
