Poor John Fanta (Seton Hall alum). I wonder in the NIL era if Seton Hall becomes the doormat of the BE.
I would fear that if SH became the new DePaul, Hurley would feel the need to help out, and believe he could do it. By that point (let's say 3-4 years), he'd have made >$50 mill here and could pay the NIL out of pocket.

Hurley infamously won't schedule URI or his brother in a real game. He's not changing in the same conference. He's not taking a pay cut or going to a place with no resources, either.

I didn't look at the Seton Hall-Ok St game results while reading this thread and your post in particular. You had me going and my hopes up the Seton Hall won, until your last statement pulled the rug from underneath my feet.
Haha unfortunately the -20 first half negated the +10 second half

if Hurley want’s to help Seton Hall he can give them a generous donation as an Alumni unless it violates the rules somehow

I am still amazed Kansas St. gave Coleman Hawkins $2 million in NIL. Maybe he'll be worth it by the end of the season but so far it's not been money well spent. Averaging 8.5 points a game. I know Kansas St. had money to burn but you'd think they should get a better return.
I'm guessing they felt he could provide the secrets to beating UConn when they meet in this year's Final Four.....like he did this year.

Or maybe how to avoid 30-0 runs?

IMO that kinda NIL money gonna dry up real quick. boosters ain't gonna like to pay that kinda bucks for losing more.

North Dakota State 44

NDSU's Jacari White with 24 points on 9-10 shooting from the field, including 6-7 3-pointers, and 5 rebounds...yes, at HALFTIME.

So with Tenn at #1 and the game on now with Rick Barnes as HC does anyone else see Bob Newhart? Friars have quite the coaching tree. Pitino, Barnes, Welsh, Gillen, Cooley and of course Gavitt.

Butler with a big 2nd half comeback. They have shut down White, thus far allowing him only 3 second half points. Butlers leads 67-62 with 2:51 remaining.

Butler lost the game by fishing for fouls and hero ball in the last 3 minutes.

Telfort’s last two touches were stat padding garbage.

McCaffrey sucks. Why play that guy at all?

Why didn’t Screen play in the second half? NDSU’s center was lighting it up.
