Really solid night for Big East overall. Marquette was the only big win, but nice to see comfortable victories across the board (except kind of DePaul, but a win is a win when it comes to the Blue Demons).

Sucks may be an exaggeration, but just read the Big East OOC thread. There's been multiple posters talking about how they'll struggle this year and aren't a lock for the NCAA Tournament

Probably partially me. Never said they would definitely struggle, I just didn't think they would be a lock at the time the discussion was had. I had them more in the likely category I believe.

I also said, I would be more than happy to be wrong. It appears I was, though I still don't like Gold or Joplin overall. Cam Jones is as expected but Mitchell is actually scoring the last three games. That is huge for them if he can keep this up. Defensively 1-3 they are really good.
