Big East OOC thread '25/'26

Yeah not only is it a bad roster fit wise, they also are going to have no chemistry/experience playing together on top of it.

They do not look like a top 2 team in the Big East. Wouldn't be surprised if Georgetown had a better team tbh.
The St. John's hot takes are going to be funny. They lost to Baylor and Georgia to start last season and then lost two games the rest of the season until the NCAA's.

His take is very hot.

I didn’t go that far lmfao.

I just don’t think they’re a top 5, 3rd weekend team. That’s not really that hot.

Bilas who may actually be one of the best evaluators in CBB does not even have Georgetown in his top 68. So unless the BE is really bad I don’t see GT being #2.

I highly recommend checking out the IU Indy/Butler game.

IU Indy is led by Ben Howlett, who is coaching his first season at the D1 level after a successful tenure at West Liberty, a program noted for his chaotic, idiosyncratic style that presses full court every possession and pushes the tempo to eleven. Fooseball-esque.

A bad loss i agree. But Providence was never making the tournament. From the middle pack...Marquette, GTown, and Villanova are the teams to watch. We get 2 out of 3, it's a 5 bid league.
I wouldn't count Providence out.

Hey if they make it, great for the league. The middle has improved, and while I think Creighton is a tournament team, I think they are closer to the middle than they are to the top.

As of right now, we have all 11 Big East teams inside the KP top 100. That helps.

Providence being Providence. Over 90% chance of winning with 7 seconds left…..then they Providence.

Agreed, and it's insanely hard to gauge anything against a Bama team who is all offense, no brakes.
