He seems like a gunner and ball stopper. I'd like to see some advanced efficiency statistics to see if that's true or not, if anyone has some.
PER - #1 on his team at 26.5. For reference our #1 is Clingan at 36.4 (lol)
Block% - Kalk is at 6.4%, #1 on his team and pretty high above #2 (Fred King 3.7%). For reference Clingan is 9.9%
TS% - He's down a bit on his team at 66.8%. For reference DC is 61.6%
Offensive win shares - He's 2nd on his team at 1.4. #1 is Scheierman 1.6. For reference Newton and Cam are 1.7, then Clingan/Karaban are next at 1.3
Defensive win shares - He's actually 3rd on his team. Trey 1.0, Baylor 0.9, Kalk 0.8. For reference our top 3 are Newton 1.0, Karaban 0.9, Cam 0.8. Karaban and Cam being >= Kalkbrenner makes me distrust the defensive win shares statistic
Offensive +/- - He's 3rd on his team at +6.1. #1 is Scheierman 7.5, Miller 7.0. For reference our top 3 are DC 8.6, Newton 6.4, Cam 6.0
Defensive +/- - He's actually 2nd at 3.2, behind Farabello (??) at 4.2. Our top 2 are Diarra 3.7, Singare and Roumoglou are 2 and 3 but I won't count them, so next is Newton at 3.0 (Clingan 2.9)
Total +/- - 2nd on his team at 9.3, behind Scheierman at 10.3. Our top 2 are Clingan 11.5 and Newton 9.5
