Virginia rocked by a bad Notre Dame team. Excited for the Creighton Marquette game.

Shouldn't have to say this but St Johns squeaks it out against Hofstra. Daniss Jenkins had a great second half, almost had a triple double

I'm on under 153 in this Marq/Creighton game.

Oso trying to shoot 3s to bring Kalkbrenner out and they're just like go for it.

Marquette starters are 1/13 right now.

This level seems like it's too much for Ashworth, I've noticed this in every Creighton game. It really hurts them.

I like Shaka a lot, but that actually is pretty annoying and Tech-able if he's doing it near the ballhandler on the court.
I guarantee you Hurley would get a T on that sh..! He was on floor ten feet from where the play was and was heading.

Great comeback win for Marquette. Sean Jones is going to be something special if he can keep his energy under control and build on this three point performance

Shaka is a pretty good defender. Dude needs to get off the court while the game is going on..

Chico Carter could be annoying in our games against DePaul. Think Primo Spears last year

16 fouls on Creighton vs 7 on Marquette. That seems hard to believe. Not surprising they let Shaka play D.

on a side Houston concludes their insanely difficult non-conf slate today looking to go 13-0 with a home game vs Penn ;)
Speaking of Big 12 teams that will be fun watching get exposed once they have to play someone besides a folding chair in conference, BYU

St. John's and DePaul both win.

84-37 (27-23).

That concludes the OOC portion of the schedule for all Big East teams.

I believe the league is going to get five bids to the tournament based on finishing between 83 and 87 wins OOC.

Overall, the Big East did well against P5 competition but underperformed against non-P5 opponents.

Big East is the #3 conference in KenPom and I think we will close the gap with the SEC because the Big East played fewer low majors, which will be a drag on the SEC as the season wears on.

I think just over half the league gets bids.

Jones and Joplin had 4 wide open unguarded 3’s toward the end that turned that game. Yes they made them but that was terrible defense by Creighton.

tbh that would have been a blowout if Marquette didn't miss like 20 open threes

Not impressed with Kalkbrenner at all. Or maybe it’s the team that’s making him look bad. They don’t prioritize him at all. Schierman (sp) has serious range. He’s good.

They went from three good defenders to two with Kaluma leaving. Not to mention Nembhard is a better defender than Ashworth.

Last year he scored a ton on pick and rolls and Nembhard was the main initiator of that.
