Big East November '25 Thread

more kids need to start healthy redshirting, surprising that someone as highly ranked as Greer is tho. I haven't paid attention to Creighton this year but it seems like he's kept a short rotation in year's past, riding his starters heavy minutes.

Really good slate of games in college basketball tonight capped off with Creighton at the Zags. Michigan v. Wake in a little while, Kentucky v. Louisville, Illinois v. Texas Tech.
#23 at #19 and #23 is an 11.5 point underdog. I guess the betting community doesn't believe in the Bluejays.

Depaul getting run by Buffalo at home doesn't bode well. That guy just doesn't seem to be able to move the needle much there.

Wake may or may not hold on, but UM looking a bit to be the fraud I thought they might. Felt over-ranked to me.

The rare non-medical redshirt

Very weird scenario - have to think there is more to this story and he's likely on his way out. There is no way a kid ranked that high is non medical redshirting.

Oh my. Buffalo is HORRIBLE recently. They better make a run.

CFJ tied for his second career high in points today with 20

Mela had 18 points and 12 assists. If he can shoot, I think he’ll be a really solid player. He was a horrible shooter last year

Like Mela - but what are we really learning against tomato cans? In their one P5 contest, they lost to Va Tech at home. Wake me up when the BE actually beats some real teams.

DePaul currently with 21 points at the 16 minute mark at home vs mighty Buffalo. It's starting to get comical.

Well we are learning that DePaul cannot beat Tomato cans….

The BE is again unimpressive. A conversation needs to be had at some point.
The Big East was good out of conference the past two seasons, it sure didn't help them with getting teams in the tournament and seeding.

They weren’t though. Unless I’m remembering wrong. The league continues to struggle as a whole in the OOC. Half of the league can’t continue to be miserable. While no one in the top half outside of UConn can reel off big time wins. The last non UConn team that had a truly impressive OOC was Marquette from a couple seasons ago. SJ turned it on in conference.

imagine if you could just wave the magic wand and swap UConn for bcu. The ACC would bounce and the Big East would get sucked under by bcu like the Titanic. No offense to the Big East but the ineptitude of the ACC braintrust astounds me.
