Unfortunately the BE thinks differently. Isn’t there a $10 million penalty for leaving. It may not be called a penalty but that’s what I call it.
I'm sure there's a substatantial exit penalty, a conference would be stupid not to have one and the (Old) Big East has certainly learned their lesson on that. That being said, it'd be $10 million well spent for UConn for the chance to join a legit P5.

I didn't look but I think it is $30M for the first 5 years, then a lower amount for the next 5 and then the regular withdrawal fee after 10 years.

you don't feel a certain level of institutional superiority towards Creighton?
what a sad little man you must be. UConn's acceptance rate in 1985 was 70%. you didn't graduate from the ivy league.

you're forgetting wichita has 5,000 more students than creighton though, making it much more of a peer institution

UConn has a very good women's basketball program. This is well known.
He thinks because Houston has 16 national titles in Golf they're more of a peer than Villanova with your 3 national championships in men's basketball.
