Thankfully disaster was avoided today so I can watch Nova vs St John's tonight without steam coming out of my head
Yeah watching other college basketball games is much more enjoyable after a UConn win. Watching them after UConn losses can still be enjoyable, but the UConn loss annoys like a pebble in your shoe on a nice walk.

I actually feel very good about the team after that game. It wasn't the drubbing we maybe hoped for going into it but we've had really good teams in the past where they would've lost that one with the way Seton Hall played.

Yea I'm not taking any negative feelings out of that game, down 8 and SH feeling themselves and they still came away with the dub. I'm still confident and glad to be done with Gampel for this particular season lol.

Opponents from 3 our last 4 games at Gampel:

Providence 5/14
Georgetown 12/28
Creighton 10/21
Seton Hall 9/18

That's 36/81 for 44 percent.

.-.
Creighton/Providence is also a big game for UConn tiebreaker purposes at 5:30. If Providence wins tonight then UConn is in good position to end up as the 1 seed regardless of what St John's does
Providence apparently has a million guys out. Might need Willard and Nova to come through.

It’s whenever the crowd is at its loudest too. I can’t even blame the team atp, some of those threes Hall hit were contested
The game plan was to try and shut things down in the paint and not guard Seton Hall tight on the perimeter because Seton Hall can't shoot. It was the right game plan and then Seton Hall decided to be Steph Curry.

As you correctly stated we weren't even exactly giving them the three, some of them were contested and we played good D inside the three point stripe and Seton Hall was hitting SGA turnaround jumpers.

Hurley needs to burn sage in every inch of that building in the offseason.

Amen about Peacock.

Does anyone besides Val think the way to build the league's brand is to put the league's premier matchup, near the end of the season mind you, on a pay service where most people will not know how to find it?

And if they find it, will they then want to pay the then premium price to access it?
You do not understand the Peacock brand.

My wife is a lifetime fan of Days Of Our Lives. Peacock is HER subscription.

I get to coast!

Ok, that's not too bad as long as Jason Edwards can play. It's basically the same roster they had in their last game at the AMP vs Xavier. It's not great or ideal either. Floyd Jr and Vaaks being out is a downer.

LOL, Harper just committed a sloppy ball handling turnover at half court after trying to draw contact. McDermott said, "Blake, don't do that sshhhiit, just go."

.-.
Providence is such a stupid team. Two unnecessary fouls, allowing Creighton to get points with the clock stopped, then they throw the ball away

.-.
Providence is finding ways to blow this. I know people dump on English, but it's not his fault for some of these dumb plays the players are committing.
