Wow, half empty seats and he finds a way to hit someone. When it rains it pours. He hit a young boy sitting on mom's lap. Wow!

I said it from the day Georgetown hired him, why did they go after Cooley so hard? What did he do at PC that was worth offering him $6 million a year? Georgetown could have gone after some up and coming mid-major guy who could coach and spent a lot less. And won, instead of Cooley's garbage.Cooley makes around 6 million per season. They cared enough to pay him that but it sure seems like someone else making thay kind of money would do a significantly better job.
Not borderline. If they want you, they got you,"for cause"This is borderline fireable, not even kidding.
Well, in fairness to Cooley he was showing he supported and had his players’ back. The Georgetown players, outside of KJ Lewis, made under 50% of their FTs (14-32). Cooley simply said “don’t worry, hold my beer”.Wow, half empty seats and he finds a way to hit someone. When it rains it pours.
Throwing a water bottle into the stands is having his players' backs? I guess I am misunderstanding what you posted.Well, in fairness to Cooley he was showing he supported and had his players’ back. Solidarity lol. He missed his target (presumably the 14th row) just as badly as his players were missing FTsThrowing a water bottle into the stands is having his players' backs? I guess I am misunderstanding what you posted.
Someone who gets it.Solidarity lol. He missed his target (presumably the 14th row) just as badly as his players were missing FTs
LOL, I wasn't being serious-I was joking and being sarcastic. In no way was I supporting what Ed Cooley did.HooperScooper said:

I spend 16 hours a day, 365 days a year on this message board asking for nothing more than one of these every six months or soEd really lost his cooley
Yikes, if anything this makes St. John's look worse. They struggled to defeat Ole Miss while Will Wade and his boys at NC State are up 27 points with the score of 63-36 and 11 minutes left.Ole Miss win probably won't be worth much to St Johns by the end of the season with the way they look today vs NC State. On the flipside if this blowout holds that should help Seton Hall
I think the Auburn loss summed it up. Auburn has been eviscerated in just about every other ranked matchup it has appeared in. Against St. John’s? An 11 point win.Yikes, if anything this makes St. John's look worse. I wanted Seton Hall but I really like Nova and Willard is going to get them in the tournament his first season there. That's a really good thing for the Big East. The big east coach of the year is getting his dick kicked in at home against Kevin Willard.
Yeah it is - as much as SH is a nice story, it's better to have Nova back and relevant after the Neptune disaster. They're walloping them.I wanted Seton Hall but I really like Nova and Willard is going to get them in the tournament his first season there. That's a really good thing for the Big East.
Got to think Nova really did their due diligence on this one after the Neptune disaster. I'd leave it to their admin not to screw it up twice in a row.Never been super high on Willard but if he has Nova looking this competent already with a just ok portal haul then he should really get it really rolling once he mixes in high level HS recruits with immediate portal help. This Nova team isn't close to as talented the team Neptune had in '23-'24 but they look miles better.
