If Seton Hall is serious about making the tourney they gotta beat Marquette tonight
Damn right. Even moreso with Zaide Lowery's dismissal. I got some money on this. I can't believe SH was a 1 pt underdog.

If Seton Hall doesn't force turnovers they will lose most games. So far this has been disappointing. This will go down as a bad loss for them against Marquette if results hold.

During the timeout, Marquette had their deflections whiteboard up and showing 29. Have not watched much of this game. That seems preposterous…that’s a deflection every other defensive possession

Marquette with a total meltdown. They were up big, I check in and Hall is on 8-0 run. Next 2 possessions by Marquette are total garbage and now Hall is up 4.

Good comeback by SH, they couldn't lose this one. Marq season from hell continues cuz they had complete control of this one

It feels strange to be watching a Dec. conference game not involving UConn and caring who wins.

The Hall got outrebounded 47-29.

Seton Hall steals one on the road. Down 7 points with under 4 minutes left but made the comeback. Would have been a Q3 loss and definitely would have haunted them on Selection Sunday. Not pretty but road W is a road W. Ended the game on a 13-0 run
Seton Hall defense is real but their offense is painful. Not as bad as last year but still pretty bad. That said if they have a hot night when we go to Newark, we better not be cold bc they don't give up anything easy

Great comeback for Seton Hall. No such thing as a bad conference road win. 13-1 run to end the game.
Phew, wasn't able to watch the game tonight and reading this thread I assumed they lost until your post.

Not sure where you saw those rebounding numbers but the boxscore on ESPN says Seton Hall outrebounded Marquette 51-33. And Stephen Payne had 22 rebounds? Are these numbers right?

Huge win for SH simply because they avoided a bad loss. They already have 12 wins. Realistically, they only need 9 or 10 more in the regular season and they are in.

His numbers were wrong. Payne was a beast on the boards, he had 22 himself. I think he had it backwards.

Yes, your numbers are accurate.
