PC is no different than most teams. Capable of being pretty good on a given night while also capable of being fairly awful. Too much positive taken from their win over us. So far the Huskies aren’t far from being that same team. Lots of teams out there on that same level it’s time for the good ones to find a way to win more consistently.

According to your own post they were a two point underdog! Unless the line moved that much?

Can't say I have any interest in betting on either of the games tonight. Really don't know what to make of either DePaul or St. John's.

Certainly would not be surprised if Nova crushes Creigton in a revenge game, but not something I'm looking to bet on.
That is true, line really moved towards Marquette.

Friday 1/7/22
Marquette @ Georgetown, 6:30, FS1 - Eric Collins, Dickey Simpkins
Line: Marquette -2/153

Xavier @ Butler, 8:30, FS1 - Noah Eagle, Casey Jacobsen
Line: Xavier -4.5/132

Latest Lunardi Bracketology Projections 1/7:

Ah, tempted to bet the favorites in both of these.

Eric Collins is one of my favorite PBP guys (calls Hornets games, did a few of our games last year) and I believe that Noah Eagle is Ian Eagle's son. Cool broadcast teams.

Should be a fun night to watch Big East basketball.

I'm right there with ya. I'm a little concerned this could be let down game on the road for Marquette following that huge win against Providence

Saturday 1/8/22
UConn @ Seton Hall, 12:00, FOX - Tim Brando, Donny Marshall
Line: Seton Hall -3.5/138

St. John's @ 16 Providence, 12:00, FS1 - John Fanta, Vin Parise

Marquette lead by 19 points in the first half. Georgetown trimmed the lead to 3. MU won by 28. Here was start of the turning point.

Tuesday 1/11/22

DePaul @Marquette, 7pm.
FS1- Kevin Kugler, Nick Bahe
Line: Marquette -7.5/149

23 Providence at Creighton, 9pm
FS1- Vince Welch, Steve Lavin
Line: Creighton -3/133

Big game for Creighton. They’re definitely ahead of schedule in terms of their rebuild (and will be beastly the next two years). But can they actually be a tournament team this year too? I’m inclined to buy it… but they have to win games like this at home, the way they did against Nova.

Wednesday
14 Villanova @ 17 Xavier, 6:30, FS1 - Kevin Kugler, Bill Raftery
Line: Xavier -1/140.5

St. John's @ UConn, 8:30, FS1 - Aaron Goldsmith, Donny Marshall
Line: UConn -10.5/150.5

Anyone watch the DePaul/Marquette game on FS1 last night?
Wondered how you felt about both coaches being live mic'd throughout the game
I found it a bit disturbing at times - Either Stubblfield's mic was cutting out or he has a bit of a tendency to use colorful language. Smart must be a man of the cloth in his day job!
Could not imagine Calhoun or myself with a mic on the sidelines

After the game, Stubblefield basically told his players they're not tough enough to compete in the Big East.

8 points scored in first four minutes+ of the Nova/Xavier game.

Rock. Fight.

Unless the audio mix is out of whack, the crowd at Cintas is super quiet.

You’re allowed to cheer and make noise, Ohioans!

Please no OT Xavier vs Nova. It’s already going to run into our game.
