Ah, tempted to bet the favorites in both of these.

Eric Collins is one of my favorite PBP guys (calls Hornets games, did a few of our games last year) and I believe that Noah Eagle is Ian Eagle's son. Cool broadcast teams.

Should be a fun night to watch Big East basketball.

I'm right there with ya. I'm a little concerned this could be let down game on the road for Marquette following that huge win against Providence

Big game for Creighton. They’re definitely ahead of schedule in terms of their rebuild (and will be beastly the next two years). But can they actually be a tournament team this year too? I’m inclined to buy it… but they have to win games like this at home, the way they did against Nova.

Anyone watch the DePaul/Marquette game on FS1 last night?
Wondered how you felt about both coaches being live mic'd throughout the game
I found it a bit disturbing at times - Either Stubblfield's mic was cutting out or he has a bit of a tendency to use colorful language. Smart must be a man of the cloth in his day job!
Could not imagine Calhoun or myself with a mic on the sidelines

After the game, Stubblefield basically told his players they're not tough enough to compete in the Big East.

8 points scored in first four minutes+ of the Nova/Xavier game.

Rock. Fight.

Unless the audio mix is out of whack, the crowd at Cintas is super quiet.

You’re allowed to cheer and make noise, Ohioans!

Please no OT Xavier vs Nova. It’s already going to run into our game.

Thursday
Seton Hall @ DePaul, 5:00, FS1 - Jeff Levering, Nick Bahe
Line: Seton Hall -5.5/147.5

Butler @ Georgetown, 7:00, FS1 - Eric Collins, Donny Marshall

DePaul 48 Seton Hall 32 with 1:36 left in first half...yikes!

DePaul playing a heck of a first half against Seton Hall. Up 16 close to halftime.

They’re kinda sloppy, but Freeman-Liberty is a heck of a bucket-getter and David Jones is a versatile scoring wing.

Most impressive this game is their defensive toughness, especially in their frontcourt between Anei, Johnson and Odgenda.

If you haven’t seen DePaul yet, there’s a lot of Isaiah Whaley in Brendan Johnson.

I’ve said it a few times, but this team is better without Charlie Moore.

.-.
Watched DePaul earlier this year. They definitely looked improved. Watching them today and can't help to think splitting our games with them looks like a possibility. Assuming we play them twice.

Stubblefield challenged their manhood after the MU game. On camera!

Stubblefield can take them to the next level. They play much more disciplined basketball than they did under Leitao, they have length and great athletes. Agree with @Hey Adrien! about Freeman-Liberty. You could see his potential last year. Now, he plays smart and can score inside and has a reliable jumper. Great win for them. They can cause us problems.

What happened. DePaul up by nine, fixed myself a cocktail and …
