Ok who were they missing for that game? I know it was one of their top scorers.
yeah, it was morsell. would have been a really valuable piece for them, especially considering what he did to us in the ncaa's.

Ok the transfer from Maryland. Well we didn't have a healthy Sanogo for that game either so pretty much our win is still legit.

I’ve been saying it since game 1. If we do what we’re supposed to, we can win this conference

The Nova games, the Creighton games and @Xavier are going to determine everything. I think we beat Xavier and Hall at home.

Coming into today, Marquette was leading the conference in both 3P% and 2P% (in conference games). They shot terribly from 2 today and lost that top spot, but still 1st in 3PT%. 45% from 3 tonight. Elliot and Lewis were sniping tonight.

Xavier pulls it out against DePaul. Great defense from a few fans on Terry's last second shot to block the camera

Big win for Xavier. With 14 wins and their OOC, they need 5 more for a tourney bid.

Shizzle just ran all the matchups and told us what record everyone would finish with in the Big East and he doesn't even know who Freemantle and Scruggs are. Man I love this place.
It's funny because I just watched the last 5 minutes of the Xavier game and voila Freemantle was missing again.

Well make sure you watch the 2 UConn-Xavier games next month. I think the Huskies would be happy not to see him in the lineup.

Nunge has been playing him off the court. Nunge is huge, mobile, and can actually protect the rim unlike Freemantle.

5pm? I assume that's a makeup game thing.

There's been some weird game times this year. It's moved to 8:30 now but Marquette/Seton Hall was originally scheduled for 4 PM on a Wednesday and as far as I can tell that wasn't a makeup game

Jones on Depaul shot out of his mind yesterday but there was just too much of a talent deficiency to hold on to it (even with a few VERY generous calls to Depaul in the last few minutes).

Not a big win. They barely beat DePaul despite the fact that their best player, Javon Freeman-Liberty not playing.

However, on the other side of the argument, this is the most talented balanced DePaul team in quite some time:

  • JFL is their clear lead guard
  • David Jones is a very good #2 option at the wing
  • Brandon Johnson is their #3 scoring option who also does all the dirty work and has the ability to play the 5 when they want to go small.
  • Jalen Terry is their young, four-start point guard who was originally recruited by Stubblefield. Despite getting starter minutes, he has the ability to play alongside JFL, so he's not always counted on to be their on-ball guard.
  • They have defensively minded 1/2 punch at the post between Anei/Ongenda.

Marquette win is looking very good. Playing Villanova right down to the wire. Nice win Marquette. WOW!
Only gave up 5 foul shots to Villanova (only took 2 themselves, can't say have seen stats like that). We need to keep Villanova off foul line also. Marquette missed 30 shots and only had 2 offensive rebounds and still won, got to love 45% from 3's.

Creighton @ Butler got moved from FS2 to FS1. MU at SH after that at 8:30, followed bt SDST at Utah State. That was not the plan by FS1 to show in what is in the tweet by Alan. I think they thought a live USMNT soccer match was going on that date when scheduled in fall.

Georgetown playing feisty, trailing the Friars 37-34 at the half.
