Guess who’s back?

Georgetown's roster is now... pretty good??? Especially if Aminu comes back, but that seems somewhat unlikely.

Still have another big problem.

Aminu signed with an agent today, staying in NBA draft.

Another backcourt addition for DePaul. Caleb Murphy was a top-100 commit for USF and their 2nd highest recruit of all-time. Not a shooter, though (61 career 3pa at a 19.7% rate):

JFL is gone, but between Jalen Terry, Umoja Gibson, Zion Cruz and Caleb Murphy, DePaul has a solid backcourt.

The loss of David Jones to St. John’s is huge. I think DePaul will struggle.

thanks for posting this
Outside of us, X, and Nova, most of the BE at least on paper had pretty poorly ranked incoming recruiting classes for 2022 (excluding transfers).

A bit surprising.

I didnt think recruiting was a thing anymore. It’s all about the transfer market

Amazing to think that many folks on the ‘yard felt McDermott was a dead man walking two seasons ago, as a result of his flippant remark. Creighton outperformed expectations with a reworked roster this season and now he is locked and loaded for next season. Impressive.
He’s a good coach.

PC loaded up on transfers since they list upper classmen.

Wow. Ndefo was one of my favorite mid-major players over the last two years. Will arguably be the best defensive player in the Big East and will be an absolute menace.

Entering the offseason, Seton Hall's frontcourt was a concern, but between Yetna, Ndefo, Jackson and Samuel, they have a strong quarter of options that each bring unique elements to the game: Yetna (offensive rebounding), Ndefo (athleticism and tenacious defense), Jackson (shooting), Samuel (classic big).

Shaheen Holloway is putting together a really nice team at the Hall. They are going to be a tough opponent

To add, @navery12, Georgetown and Butler will be better while DePaul and Xavier have a good chance to be better. There are a lot of reasons why, but I always thought Aaron Thompson held back the full potential of Butler while a lot of people here think Paul Scruggs held back the potential of Xavier. Also, Freemantle is finally healthy.

Also, there's a realistic chance that all teams in the Big East will be within the KenPom top-100, which happened with this current group of teams (some years without UConn) as recently as 19-10, 17-18 and 14-15.

PC really helped themselves in the portal as did Seton Hall.
