I thought that Providence would have had to lose last night to fall off the #4 line, but honestly an eye-test disaster like this gives all the ammunition that skeptical Committee members would need to knock them down a peg.

If we win tonight, we could very well pass not only Illinois, but Providence as well.

How far does Providence go in the NCAA? We've had terrible losses in the conference tournament and went on to play well in the NCAA, but I wouldn't be too optimistic if I were a Providence fan. Do they get out of the first weekend?

I don’t think there’s any question that if providence had to play the 3 games they conveniently didn’t reschedule they don’t win the conference title. There should be an asterisk next to their name this year.

Yeah that loss in Omaha had me incensed. But the way they are playing now, that loss does not look so bad. When UConn was down 17 that game could’ve gone like this game against PC, but instead UConn fought back. Nicely
