That said, I REALLY hope DH has a plan to counter McDermott's "pack the paint" strategy to suffocate Sanogo offensively whenever we play them next (this season or next). We've seen it twice (AS was 6-16 in Omaha) and he'd be silly to not keep doing it until we can stop it.

As long as he dares us to hit our outside shots and we don't, it'll continue. Either we need a great shooting day or DH needs to find a counter-strategy that will work. Better shooting guards next year would help a lot.

Keep in mind UConn eeked out 2 wins against St John’s. If UConn beats Seton Hall they will have a tough match no matter who win this game.

I hope SJU becomes consistently good so NYC notices a lot more-it benefits the Big East and makes UConn-St. John’s games at MSG more talk of the town material which is also great for the Big East
