No idea on the date but it was against Rodney Rogers and Wake Forest.
Not a rumor… jumped over Rodney Rogers to steal a pass. Rogers was ~6’7”, future NBA talent.

Isn't this one of those counting stats that speaks for itself? Most steals per minute = best stealer. Context matters a lot less here than something like fg% or even blocks because they're dependent on height.
This narrative has run its course. Same with reasoning that Nadav’s numbers are skewed because of JC’s aggressive press. In reality, Nadav’s hand-eye coordination was off the charts, and frankly, more than made up for his average-at-best athleticism. He was the son of an Israeli Air Force pilot and Nadav also passed the IAF pilot’s test. IAF pilots are known for their elite vision. Not a coincidence. He picked pockets every game in the half court.Nadav benefited from playing safety in the 2-2-1 for example.
The guy averaged 3.0 fouls per game in 89-90. So, if he felt more comfortable taking chances with the six foul rule, you or I would have never known…. So that argument fails the smell test. And having 6 fouls to work with.

Maybe they were more offensive oriented than defensive. How are Williams and Price not on the list?
