Around these parts, that's considered one of the stupidest quotes ever. Given Bell's 2001 performance and complete lack of effort during spring training, it's essentially the baseball equivalent of AI's "practice" rant.

I also like Spurrier talking about how Tennessee always lost a big game so the didn't get to go to a major bowl, ending up in the Citrus Bowl several years in a row:
