I was at that game. They couldn't stop him.Didn’t Jeremy Lin torch us for 30 +?

That game was more like the worst performance from a UConn coach, then a good performance from the opposing player.Frosh (?) Berwanger BC center 74 NIT 1/4 final , short-ish buzzer beater , 76-75 after Jimmy Foster gave us 1 pt lead, 75-74
Yes against MinnesotaI remember someone going off in an NIT game at the Civic Center. I think it was Trent Tucker. I may be wrong. My memory has been fading lately.
I was there... I completely agree w/your take...That game was more like the worst performance from a UConn coach, then a good performance from the opposing player.
Ill never forget that gameLindsey Hunter. 1993 NIT at Gampel
yeah we lost to Jackson State...I was shocked, as I did not anticipate losing to such a lower-conference team that year.Lindsey Hunter Killed us once in a 1993 home OT NIT loss. 39 points. i believe we had an incredible last minute comeback to get game to OT then lost.
He actually played in the NBA for 11 years so at least he was a good player who had a great game. Cannot remember if he was poorly defended, though.I remember someone going off in an NIT game at the Civic Center. I think it was Trent Tucker. I may be wrong. My memory has been fading lately.
Watching those 5:16 highlights feels surreal like being in an alternate universe watching Tristen Newton light it up against UConn. If someone told me a player on the court for that game would have their name posted on the wall in Gampel I would have guessed 1) James Bouknight or 2) Christian Vital. But I remember watching this game vividly and Newton playing well. I didn't know who the hell he was at the time.
This is the correct answer 43 points on 17Elijah Allen, 1998. Thought for sure we were going down in a 2-15 game
96 losing RickyPainful memory but Darryl Wilson from Mississippi St. in the 96 NCAA tournament (Sweet 16 game at Rupp Arena) in Ray's junior season.
He was 7 for 11 from three.
Losing Ricky for the tournament cost us this game.
Was this the guy that was waving and blowing kissed to his girlfriend in the stands?I remember Preston Shumpert being a real jerk when we play Cuse back in the late 90s
Many of his shots were heaves or off balance, that seemed to swish.Teddy Allen has to be top 3
Oh I remember that, I was super suprised how athletic he was!Didn’t Jeremy Lin torch us for 30 +?
Sort of surprised he never was a good 3 point shooter in the NBAIll never forget that game
