Teddy Allen…I have never seen someone shoot that well all game
He actually didn’t shoot that well. He was 10-24 and 4-7 from 3. What killed us was the rest of their team didn’t miss from 3 and they shot like 65% from 3 for the game while we shot like 30%. Our team just didn’t have the offensive firepower that year to compete with a team that got hot from 3.

Whoever lite us up in the Virginia scrimmage game that Hurley eluded to in his interview about last year's team. LOL! I thought we won that scrimmage game last year but Hurley made it sound like we got blown out?

Painful memory but Darryl Wilson from Mississippi St. in the 96 NCAA tournament (Sweet 16 game at Rupp Arena) in Ray's junior season.

He was 7 for 11 from three.

Losing Ricky for the tournament cost us this game.

I was going to say this. After all Teddy Allen had done off the court, (especially the violence toward women) it is nothing short of a travesty that he was allowed to play in the NCAA again. Not a good guy at all.

Whereas this past year Alabama shot 8-11 from 3 in the first half and we still had a lead.

Darius Rice still gives me nightmares.

I happened to be in Miami at the time and was at that game. Most crushing loss ever in an otherwise mostly meaningless regular season game. Like... we've lost other close games at the last second, but this one stands out due to the final sequence of events.

I feel like this one wins, with Rice getting a career high and hitting the last second shot.

I know this might be sacrilegious to some or even many here but I also think it's ok to respect opponents too. If you don't like the idea of this thread feel free to hit the back button.

In another thread I asked if an opposing player has ever performed as well vs UConn as Teddy Allen did. UConn is known for shutting down opposing stars but what other examples do you have of a someone having the game of their life vs UConn?
We allowed Zach Edey to go off for 37 points and 10 rebounds against us in the National Championship game.

The wildest part is we won that game by 15 points lol
