Fairfield area is where it’s at. There are hidden treasures of breakfast sandwiches scattered around town. If you are a breakfast sandwich guy like Austin316 you can thank me later.... try this.

Pine Creek Deli (Fairfield, CT)
Ask for “The Shredder”

BEC (2x B&E), sausage patty, potatoes/home fries, hot sauce and ketchup on a hard roll.

The Shredder is not bad but Tasty Yolk down the street is better.

I need to find a good one in Stamford, so far all the ones I've tried have been underwhelming

I haven’t been to Fairfield in a while. I’ll have to look this place up. Where is it?
It's a food truck on the side of the road a quarter mile further toward Fairfield center.

There are 3 more - one in Black Rock, by Sacred Heart and another that is often near Greenfield Hill. They are also opening a brick and mortar in Black Rock.

Welcome! How you liking it? There are about a half dozen Dunkin Donuts just a little while between each other on the Silas Deane. Enjoy!

Cove Deli is good. Aroma Bistro. Technically Rocky Hill but Mitchell's is good. Technically Hartford but First & Last Bakery is good too. Old Town Cafe. Hmmm.... I'm hungry.

Don't bother with Max Bibo's. Their normal sandwiches are good, but they either fry up their bacon early or use the microwaveable kind. Unforgiveable.

Mitchell's has the best pancakes in the history of life...

Really? The place looks so uninspired I've never been tempted to go in. I'll have to give it a try if I'm over there around breakfast time.

Misty Vale Deli on route 34 in Sandy Hook. $1.75 and very good, even better the next day in the microwave. Honest.

Made many of morning stops there when working out in Danbury/new Milford area.

Can't beat the price and they do a great job

I never eat sammiches like these but On Saturday ordered a Egg, cheese and sausage on a croissant at Perk on Main in Middletown. It was so gooooood.

Lorca has a good one next to Tigins. It’s expensive but it’s really good. I also like Rinaldis on East Main.

I'm not arguing that it is the best, but certainly one of the best values, is Hall's Market in W. Htfd. Two eggs, bacon, cheese on a roll for $2.99.
I personally don't like theirs, very salty. Might have to give it another chance though.

I’ll agree with Country Cow after trying it for the first time this morning. I had it with salt, pepper, and home fries.

Solid, solid breakfast sandwich.

Gotta try it again. I’ve had it twice and wasn’t impressed either time. Wasn’t a fan of the roll especially. Is there any specific way I should order it?

S&S Dugout in Southport is really good too. Their roast beef egg and cheese is great.

Great bagels should only be eaten plain...
and release steam on the first bite.
Haven't had great bagels in CT though.
Montreal most recently, NYC/LI historically.
The question when ordering is, "What's still hot?"
