Beer's is locked in on their staples. Nothing really new in a while in the IPA portfolio.I’d like to see Beer’d brew a true hazy with a solid grain bill if they’re going to hop a DIPA with Nelson. They are still stuck in first-generation New England IPA mode. Nothing wrong with that, but when it’s not at a Heady or Focal Banger level, it’s not worth buying in place of better options.
A former brewer is now head brewer at Twelve Percent in North Haven. He has his False Hope Brewing label. He brews excellent hazy IPAs and tasty stouts.
Thimble Island also avoided the super hazy IPAs.
The beer I pictured above I think turned. Beer #1 and #2 just didn't sit right. I always avoid the packy where I bought the 4-pack and I am kicking myself now.
