My brother is HVAC repairman to the stars. He's hung out with Keith shooting the breeze on BTUs a number a times. Apparently a very polite gentleman. But Charles Grodin is his favorite customer.

Someday I will show up at an ADub show and shout "Freebird!". Or, "Get your hands out of my pockets!" Not really sure which. It'll depend on what mood I'm in when I wake up that day.

I've met some folks from the football board, but no Poolers. I have offered to be a Pittsburgh tour guide to Spartacus in a moment of weakness. Thankfully he's too chicken to come here.

I am with you on this. I also don't think meeting people from this board would go well.


Whaler, ADub, Nomar, Juanita - a night out with these guys would have about a 50% chance of ending with us running down a street being chased by the patrons of the bar we were just in who finally had enough of our bullscalito. I wouldn't be surprised if this happens a lot with Juanita.

Businesslawyer - he would find me just as annoying in real life as he does on this message board.

The deplorables (they know who they are) - I don't look at it as my job to make nice with people like this. I don't tolerate intolerance.

Spartacus - this would be like one of those weird play dates my mom would set up when I was a kid with the kid of someone she barely knew who I didn't know at all, but my mom thought we would be friends because we both read or liked Star Wars or something like that. There would be no chance of me bringing this kid to hang out with my other friends, so we would stare at each other for 10 minutes, and then watch TV for the rest of the time he was over. My mom would do this about every 6 months.

No Donkey - we actually agree on quite a bit, and would probably get along except for the fact that he is a .

The rest of the Nelsons - would just annoy me because every time they said something reasonable I would be thinking "they don't seem like an idiot, but they support Trump so they must be". And then I would probably say something like that to their face.

Conservative Never Trumpers - Zoo, Serrano, GoUConn would all hate me. Not because they are conservative, but just because I am confident they would all hate me. I can live with that.

The rest of the left leaning posters (samoo, jmick, 8893, tdrink) - We would probably get along ok, because they are not raging scalitoholes like so many others on this board.

Uconndoit - I would actually like to have a beer with UConndoit.

I mentioned this brewski a couple of pages ago. It is my official yard (Not 'yard) beer for this spring/summer. They also have their Libby's Shandy that is outstanding.

You must be joking. I've had all but one or two of them and none of them are even close to as good. Some of them are nearly drain pour bad.

How about Hammer & Nail out of Waterbury? That was pretty good stuff for back in the day. Used to drink it in high school.
