Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bend, OR or the Portland/Seattle area.

Everybody says Boneyard is just killing it out there.

Scouting Worthy Burger for a stop on our ride up to Waitsfield. Their beer menu last night:

Oddly, I think Prospect is the choice there. Haven't had Dorothy, Conduct of Life or Carrier Mild.

I've liked what I've had from Foley Bros. and will definitely be trying that. I've had Dorothy and it's very good for the style (Saison) but it's not my favorite style. I haven't had Conduct of Life but I see that it's a 5% ABV Pale Ale made with Citra and Amarillo, so I would definitely get that as well. And I always love the Edward. Carrier Mild is a dark mild, which is probably not a style I'd order, at least not from a list like this.

Prospect is the best DIPA from Foley Bros., and both Pieces of Eight and Fair Maiden are superb. It's on par with just about anything really.

I know this will be poo-pooed by the guys who are quaffing SoS and Hills Farmstead, but i have built an NCAA-long collection of Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye, by virtue of my selective purchasing of their IPA mixed cases. It's an expensive way to do it (man do i wish they would bring Ruthless back to it's own case!), but it's my mojo contribution. It's worked before.

I've got a good supply of Two Roads Rye 95 in my fridge, if that helps at all.

Not the same - it's good, but Ruthless is awesome. Rye 95 is also dangerous for mass consumption at 9.5 ABV!!

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll have to pick up the variety pack sometime. Sierra Nevada makes some good beers.

If you like Rye and IPAs, there is no better. That being said, Easy Rye'da from Black Hog in Oxford is a session rye IPA that is REALLY good, too.

Is it good mojo if I shotgun a Heady topper? I have a key in my hand. I have two choices:

1) shotgun one of theses toppers
2) poke my eyes out for watching this game.

Please don't waste Heady like that. I've still never had one, and will cry if someone in CT basically dumps one down the drain like this.

Yeah I like the eye poke option better too.

I picked up a bomber of Knee Deep Lupulin River imperial IPA. Top tier...I'd put it right up there with SOS , GBot, etc.

I just tried the Knee Deep Breaking Bud, awesome stuff!

The one that's in your hand and in this case. Genny Light. Not bad for a semi-flavorless light lager. I'll have Hill Farmstead tomorrow a decent balance.

Doing my part for the mojo. Heading to the in-laws in Danbury to watch the game today, but taking a short detour to Brewster, NY, where Cigar City Brewing is distributed. I'll be drinking Jai Alai IPA tonight; a Florida beer to cheer on our team that's down in Orlando.

Has anyone ever had Westbrook beers? I always try them and I'm very impressed. They're from South Carolina. Have had over 10+ of their beers, and they are always very good. For my money, one of the most consistently good brewers I've tried.

I have been drinking Rodenbach (sour Belgian ale) since the end of regulation of the Cincy game. It tastes great and also makes your freshman hit full court shots.

Very good brewery. One Claw is a great beach beer. Mexican Cake is superb.
