I thought the officiating was fine.

When it's all said and done, these might have been the two best teams in the tourney. Maybe.

Baylor was bigger stronger faster but UConn sure had some grit in this game .. great team performance by the entire team .. stopped Baylor when it counted ..
Now the complaint I felt Baylor got a lot of ticky tack fouls for being as physical as they were reminded me of Arkansas again .. Paige locked up player of the year

Survive and advance. I could not be more proud of this team. Unbelievable. What a comeback and what a win. I need to go change my clothes LOL. I'm a sweaty mess!

This will go down as one of the greatest wins in a non NC game ever. UCONN had just one more play in them than Baylor. It will take some time to process this game, but IMHO, just a tremendous all around team effort. I'm pretty emotional right now, as I'm sure the team is as well.

A stressful, gut-wrenching come from behind win and to hold them off at the end, OMG - WCBB could not have asked for a better game. I could have - I mean for me, it would have been better for my blood pressure to win by double digits, but OMG just WOW...

Tough last 5 minutes. Was watching with my grandson. With 3:30 left I said if UConn gets to 72 they win easily. We stopped scoring and it was hold your breath time. Survive and advance.

That should clearly have been a foul on Edwards. Elbow in the face. But the officiating was not that great all game.

Come man she jumped into her but more calls went Baylor’s way than UConn’s and I’m not a one to complain about the ref’s but like you said was not a very well called game

Unfortunately, the referees are afraid to make calls at end of game. The shooter got hit in the head/face with an arm as she was shooting. That was a foul.

The turnaround was Richards going out with that injury. At that point Baylor had the momentum. Both sides had tons of missed opportunities down the stretch.

CW will learn. She has been through the fire and will learn.

The one FT that I felt showed nerves was the second of the four she had at the end when she front rimmed it. That seemed to show tightness.

Lost track of how many times a Connecticut player got knocked flat on the floor without a foul called. At one point a two-handed shove that sent Bueckers about ten feet.

But at the end, I said to myself, "This is where one defensive stop puts you in the Final Four."

I've always liked the term "supporter" from soccer.

It would be nice if there were fewer fanatics and more supporters.

I must admit, in the chatroom, I said "game, set, match"...right before the 19 point run. Glad I didn't turn off the tv!!!!!!
If there was a UConn foul on that last possession, oh well, bout time we got the non call because Paige was getting beat up pretty badly.

I agree with you. So was the rake across the arm on Christyn’s break when the ref was standing right there. Sounds like a wash to me. We all hate when the refs decide games.
