Washington stinks , no discipline on either side of the floor. Probably because of all the freshman they play. Zags strength clearly lies in their three bigs, Few gets them a ton of post touches. Floor doesn't look slippery so thats cool also

Gonzaga's size is silly. UDub isn't small by any means but they just get swallowed up by Karnowsi, Wilt and Sabonis. Still think the Zags backcourt is a bit of a liability but Albert looks like a shooter. They don't seem to set up any looks off the dribble drive, most of the offense starts on the high post and they are a gear slow. Would be interesting to see if we could run Karnowksi into the ground and the 4/5 mismatches when we went small could open up things on either end.

Any of our players or coaches there watching these other games?

Looks like they're playing in the dark on my TV set at the gym.

Washington has no discipline - they foul and turn the ball over consistently. The bigs for Gonzaga are versatile... Sabonis has good low post moves, Wiltjer can take his guy to the basket, and Karnowski seals well and just lays it in. Zags guards are decent but unspectacular. Washington has no answer for the Zags offense, but I'm not scared of Gonzaga with our team.

Both teams just look slow. Maybe it's the nature of the game... maybe it's Gonzaga being so big.

Washington is a team of athletic bodies who can't play a lick worth of team basketball.

hoping karnowski is gassed after three days... maybe that is the benefit of playing a 230 lbs distance runner at C.

He can't run from him when they dump it in the post to Kanowski though. Hope he's ready if it happens.

How are we looking fan wise around the island? Cuse fans are so vile

So Cuse basically gets a bye to the next round and the more favorable time slot considering Mich/UConn will be finishing up sometime near midnight and will have to play a day game the next day. SMFH.

It's tough to tell until we see our support in the gym but there is a large and loud Cuse contingent.

Cuse is really cheating the back line up into a 3-2 zone. They won't be able to play it that way against us or well lob dunk baseline all day.

It is an outrage that Syracuse gets nearly 8 hours of rest/prep time on us not to mention a far easier first round opponent. That is a big advantage no matter what way you slice it.

I look at this the opposite of you guys though. I'd rather play and beat a good team and get used to that level of competition than go in cold turkey on thanksgiving. The winner of the UConn UM game will be the first real team Cuse has played. Could be an in game adjustment window for them.
