If that's true it's brilliant. I don't have any idea what the exact money #s looks like. We do know that AK and Reed were well paid. Solo and Stew probably got paid last year and that money is already accounted for. They all get their day in the sun
And I wouldn't be surprised if Danny is behind this. Staying in the news
Post/handleIs there enough money for all three? And two bigs? If you had to rank all 5 in the order of value--Mullins and a starting big have to be 1-2. You could argue with all the other players on the roster, a backup big would be #3.

Mullins I think goes pro but we will see.My hunch - two of them come. Would love all three.
What is going on with Furphy? Wonder if Furph is good to give us some minutes next year for a starting role as a Junior.
I think he's the domino if he comes back. He doesn't other two are slam dunks. Odds of coming back are stacked as:Mullins I think goes pro but we will see.
Yeah. I agree Solo will be next to announce he's staying.I think he's the domino if he comes back. He doesn't other two are slam dunks. Odds of coming back are stacked as:

Stew
I have no idea where room is for Stew if we bring Freeman in & Mullins back. There are at least two guys that have to make "hard decisions". To me that is Mullins & Stew. Stew deserves a ton of PT next year and I just don't see where he'd get it if we have Solo, Ross, Landrew, Freeman and Mullins at the 2-3.

Latest O'Connor Mock has Mullins fairly high. He's really anywhere between 15-28ish. That's a tough range - you are 15, you go. You are over 20, you think hard about staying. Most of these new mocks have Yaxel and Mara in the lottery, sometimes top ten.
I can’t see Stewart demanding much in NIL.Is there enough money for all three? And two bigs? If you had to rank all 5 in the order of value--Mullins and a starting big have to be 1-2. You could argue with all the other players on the roster, a backup big would be #3.
Stew is a tough call - would giving him that 4 starting role empower him? If Hurley swings and misses on Freeman, does he give Stew a shot?I can’t see Stewart demanding much in NIL.
Nothing against the kid, he seems to be a good teammate, but he’s a fringe 8th man
I agree. If Stew comes back there will be a plan in place that is far greater than 8th man minutes. It sounds weird to say but he hasn't REALLY had a chance to shine. He played behind AK most of the year and Braylon+Ross' incredible leap+ Stew's injury made it a tougher junior year. I think he adds a lot when he gets good minutes.Stew is a tough call - would giving him that 4 starting role empower him? If Hurley swings and misses on Freeman, does he give Stew a shot?
He's a tricky one. I have a hard time thinking he's coming back to be an 8 man again. Or to back up a starting 4. He's just not good at coming off the bench and deserves a starting role somewhere.
We’ve been connected to multiple big name fours and more will likely enter the portal in the future. All of Hurley’s actions suggest that starting Stew at the 4 is pretty far down the list of possible options. IMO we cannot go into next year starting one guy that can create their own shot (Silas) again.Stew is a tough call - would giving him that 4 starting role empower him? Did RuffRuff just reveal himself?I don’t know who this dude is or what his shtick is but I saw enough clips of him during the tournament to make it unclear as to whether he’s doing a bit or not. He had a Hurley video that was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen.
It also appears, at least as of now that Hurley isnt going the "tear it all down" approach. He seems, with limited info i admit, that he may be leaning towards maintaing some kind of continuity, maybe not out of loyalty but other more system/style related reasons. But of course another guy who can create was what all our Natty teams possessed. If 15th is your ceiling then coming back is the choice. Sure 15th is fine but how much lower changes that calculus? He’s maybe not a starter at our program but he’s an absolute impact player off the bench and a luxury for a program of our status. To call him “a fringe 8th man” is basically ridiculous.
