Azzi Update

I know, I know. Camera angles are deceiving. I've been thinking for some time that Paige looks like she's taller than when she first arrived 2 years ago. For example compare her to Caroline, Lou, and Azzi. She's no longer 5'-11". She sure looks 6'-1" to me. Tell me you don't see the same thing. I'm pretty sure I've noticed a difference when she's standing next to Azzi during recent games. In all seriousness (while I can't say I've ever heard of such a thing) is it possible that her injuries triggered some bone growth during the healing process? Yeah, I know sounds preposterous.
If CD is 5’10” then Paige seems to be about the same height. maybe a hair taller.

This is week 4 of no Azzi, so maybe a week or two away from her return to game action? That would be about 6 weeks.
I would " err" here on the conservative side. So what if we lose a few games? And losing is not likely anyway until we play another out of conference "biggie." Even, then, so what if we lose? The best line-up we can muster is; Azzi and Muhl, Edwards, Dorka and Lou. With a bench of Aubrey and Caroline. But everyone has to be healthy and fit. Patterson, Amari and Ines can eat minutes that don't matter. And coach should use them generously, because seven players can wear down.

You think Azzi is going to play on Tuesday?
Yes. Now that she’s been cleared I’m sure of it. She might not start but she’ll get in the game. That would put her out 4 weeks which is already likely overly conservative to for a hyper extended knee.

Not to worry about practice players. Whan number 50 can't make it there are ample minor league guys just drooling for a chance to Wally pip that guy. In fact they drool a lot for a chance.:)

I don't think CD is 5'-10". Regardless, compare to the 3 players I mentioned. We know 4 is 6'-2", Lou is 6'-1", and Azzi is 5'-11".

I believe he means Chris Dailey, not Caroline Ducharme, who is 6-2

The point is that they ARE taking a conservative approach. She's been doing things already. Geno said she has "looked great".

I didn't read every post, but has anyone noted that Geno was also asked about Caroline's health status, and he gave a cryptic but fairly positive reply? Paraphrasing, he said that Caroline claims to be fine and ready to go against Marquette, and that she has a track record of being honest in reporting anything serious to the coaches. So he assumes that she will be a "go" for Marquette.

I guess we will find out at 2 PM tomorrow or shortly before.

Thank you. This board doesn’t get it. She likely could have been playing weeks ago if they were taking a more aggressive approach.
